The Majestic Mt. Mago: A Two-Hour Hike Camping Spot

If you're looking for a perfect spot to camp without spending too much time hiking, Mt. Mago in Carmen, Cebu should be on your top list. It was our group's first time to explore the mountain and the experience was nothing short of the de-stress weekend we were looking for. The favorable weather brought less sun which we thank for. Most of the time we traversed on open fields and we were spared from what could have been a burning inferno if the sun was not hiding behind the clouds. The rain decided not to bother us too, just a slight drizzle from time to time but nothing too heavy for the terrain to be muddy.

Unlike some mountains we've climbed, on this one fog started to settle earlier than expected. At some point, there was zero visibility as the fog enveloped the mountains below. There even was a sea of clouds which dissipated after a few minutes (I was not able to take pictures because I still don't know how to take night shots with my camera). It was cold and quiet as expected, a perfect spot for stories and relaxation. Here are some of the photos:
