Mt. Guiting-guiting: An Out of This World Hiking Experience

Knife's edge view of the famous Mt. G2

Sibuyan, Romblon
Revtrav Via Olango Trail Exit to Tampayan Trail
March 30-31,2018 (excluding travel  to Romblon)
2058 MASL
9/9 Philippine difficulty

Hiking the ranges of Mt. G2 was an out of this world experience. Aside from the astounding sceneries along the trail, the rocky ridges gave an overall exhausting yet thrilling hike. Unlike other mountains where the jump-off points take a portion of the total mountain altitude, Mt. G2 hike starts at the base point and you get to experience the full 2058 meters above sea level altitude.

The team we joined coordinated with Tatay Remy Rebiso for the event. For the photos, better bring a waterproof camera just in case it'll rain. you don't want to miss capturing almost-near death moments on the knife's edge part of the trail. I was not able to take many photos on the second day because of the difficulty of the trail (requiring much caution and concentration).
